Beach Resorts in Orlando Fl. Not Far Away From Sea World?

I am planning a trip to florida for the first time. I wanted to visit Seaworld since we are going with our 2 Year old. But i wanted to go to a BEACH resort. The hotels Seaworld offers have no beaches. Thanks. in advance! So wanted to know if theres any Beach resort where we can Take a Cab too and won't be 100 Bucks or something. Thanks!

  1. sorry, no beach resorts in or around orlando...if you're renting a car get on the bee line expressway and head east for about an hour, then north or south on I95 or US 1 till you find the beach you want, if you go west it'll 2 or more hours to get there.
  2. There are no beaches in Orlando as it is in Central Florida and is land locked. Your option would be to pick a community on one of the coasts and then drive to Sea World on the day you'd like to visit. I'm partial to the West Coast because that is where I live, but there are very nice places on both coasts. My suggestion would be Clearwater Beach. From here to Sea World takes anywhere from 90 minutes to two hours depending on traffic.
  3. there are no beaches in orlando since it is in central florida and not on a coast. you can stay at a beach resort on either the gulf of mexico sid of florida or the atlantic side of florida but both coastes are about 2 hours away from orlando so a taxi would cost A LOT.
  4. Orlando is not on the beach, so you won't find a true beach resort. Disney World has the Polynesian which has a man-made beach on their lagoon, but I don't know if that is what you had in mind. It would be around a $40 cab ride, last time I checked, but that's one-way.
  5. I dont think there are any close by, I remember going to a beach when we were on holiday but I think it may have been when we had a week in orlando and a week in st.petersburgh. I think the beach would have been in st.petes.
  6. Your nearest beaches - proper beaches - are an hours' drive - minimum, from Sea World. The only thing you may find is that some of the Disney hotels are themed, and I believe that there are a couple with 'beaches', albeit man-made!
