  1. Barolcay or pawalan is nice
  2. Agree with the first answerer. Boracay and Palawan are two places where you should go if you want to have a nice vacation in beaches. Or if you don't want to go far away from Manila, I recommend you to have a nice vacation in Island Cove Resort in Cavite or some beach resorts in Batangas or Subic. The travel time is only one and a half to three hours. But I suggest don't have a vacation yet this January until the first week of February (if you're planning to go here now) because it still freaking cold here inthe Philippines!
  3. try Siargao Island check the site if you want http://www.surigaoislands.com/siargao_island.html
  4. You want inexpensive, try Mr. O'Dell at boardwalkresort@yahoo.com Small, nice and lots of amenities.
  5. Come to Boracay ! Check White Beach, Station 3 area. There are budget cottages available, also for longtime stay. Station 3 is more quiet but to nightlife center at Station 2 also just around 10-15 minutes walk along beach pathway. You will enjoy :)
  6. here are some of my recommendations... 7. I heard Boracay and Palawan have a great beaches. If you have relatives in the Philippines to stay with you could save money otherwise you would have to spend money in a hotel.
  8. Siargao Island, it is extremely diverse in what it offers. from scuba, snorkeling, caves, mountains, a wide variety of beaches, pristine lagoons, and natural swimming pools, friendly people(but make sure you meet up with a local foreigner there, so they can tell you the ropes, and introduce you to the community, otherwise, you may have problems, that is true anywhere in the Philippines, even myself, who have lived here for 2 years, speak to the barangay captain or community leader before going into new areas if i don't have family living those areas), its cheap to stay there, down to as low as 10 dollars per night, or up to 50-60, depending on your requirements, you can sleep on the beach, in a tent, whatever, it is the best place to go to have fun, and you will meet nice people also. It is located 2 hour boat ride from Surigao City(my home).
  9. the Olongapo area is exploding as a tourist destination with the number of both domestic and international guest on the rise. The transformation of the Subic Navy base into an economic zone with a concentration of recreational activities and a wide variety of accommodations has placed a new tourist destination on the map. Domestic tourists, especially those from Manila, are seeing the area as a qualified alternative to many other tourist destinations. The recent improvements in the Northern Expressway and the new Subic-Tarlac expressway are bringing the area closer and closer. The Subic-Clark destination is now expanding rapidly and starting to be marketed as one location. only 45 minutes from DMIA airport at Clark, less than 2 hours from Mnila. The rapid expansion of tourism facilities on the Subic Bay Freeport balanced by the Eco-tourism and the attraction of the Bay brings people for a variety of experiences. Clark has a number of Luxury hotels not duplicated elsewhere, a fine selection of Casinos and Golf courses. The International tourist is what is really leading the way to the growth of Subic Bay. The number of visitors from other Asian countries is growing so fast that it is hard to keep pace. Olongapo is for everyone’s budget. There are accommodations in all price ranges and cater to all sorts of activities.” best wreck diving, other water sports great range of night life also, everything you need in the area
