What Do You Think Of This Youngster's Bowling?

This boy plays for Manly on Sydney's Northern Beaches, what do you think of his future in cricket?Remember he was playing against some people twice as old as himself in at least the first match mentioned. http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,24567819-5006069,00.html

  1. Oh ! impressive.. hope for best for him in future.. offer him for third test :D to take spin department
  2. This kid took 19 wickets against batsmen twice his age? Color me impressed, and I'm American so I barely understand cricket. Get him on the national team ASAP, but not for tests right away. Twenty20 or maybe ODI's at first.
  3. Awesome, he needs to be trained properly and hope he stays rooted to the ground as well.Grade 5 cricket on matting wickets? so usually it helps the spinners and he should play on them for a while to get the confidence.Best of luck to him.
  4. That's not competitive cricket, I once scored 10 out of 11 goals in a soccer game but I ain't that good
  5. oh very much impressive, he could be the great bowler in his career. my well wished are always with him.
  6. That's pretty impressive for such a young kid. I hope he gets the proper nurturing, training, guidance and support he needs to build on it and make a career for himself in cricket. He could be a considerable bowling force in the future. I wish him luck.
  7. Impressive stats , not sure on how your Cricket grading system works though, so could depend on the quality of the bats. Hope he keeps his head together and progresses through the ranks, though we really don't need another Shane Warne terrorising us for the next twenty years !!!!!
  8. They are awesome. I see them playing on the internet.
  9. Its great to see a young spinner taking wickets its just a shame he isnt a kiwi lol but good on him best I ever got was 7 wickets in a one day match but it pales in comparison to this guy if he keeps at it and really focuses hard on being the best he can be he could make the Aussie team, as long as people dont compare him to Warne all the time
  10. Twice as old as himself and he only started bowling leg spin a year ago. If he can keep improving at this rate, he could be the next Warne! And I thought that me (as a 15 year old) taking 4 wickets twice on sucessive Saturdays in my club's 2nd team was good.
  11. I think he has a great future in cricket if he consistently plays well and stays healthy. Even at his young age Harbhajan was able to do the trickes with the ball that you see only in international cricket.
  12. I think the kid is a talent but its a long way from taking 7 for in 5th grade to playing a a high level, I was playing 2nd Grade seniors on hard wicket whilst playing district cricket as a junior, it takes alot of commitment to get to first grade rep so hopefully he can do it but its a long way away for now.
  13. may be next ajantha mendis (in making)
  14. Future International Cricketer.
