Light skin/dark hair = foreign/exotic/mysterious. Agree? Disagree?

I have light skin, naturally dark brown/black hair, and brown eyes with black eyelashes and dark eyebrows. I am a 21 yo Caucasian female from Australia. Although I have lived here my entire life I am often asked where I am from... for years I couldn't understand why people asked. I have recently decided I must look foreign or exotic. Blonde or lightened or highlighted hair is very popular with girls in Australia, and so is the whole blue contacts/fake tan thing probably due to our 'beach culture'. Anyway I've figured that I must look foreign/exotic/mysterious otherwise people wouldn't comment on my appearance. Thanks. for the record i also hate the beach with a passion and wear liberall amounts of sunscreen every time i go in the sun, even if im driving. i hate the sun!!!

3. nah, it could be just the way you talk, act, or they are just wondering. or just because you are pale. but lots of people have that, and everybody is a foreigner to another place, so you cant judge by that. <3
