- Hi My partner is living in Australia at the moment, having lived in Bondi and Coogee. From what he says, I assume Bondi is more of a party place, and he seemed to really like Coogee, think it may be a bit quieter? Just my opinion from what I have heard! Good luck, Im sure it's amazing out there!!!
- I'd go for somewhere around Avalon, Newport, palm beach or bilgola I have friends that live literaly on palm beach, it's beautiful, and yeah, Bondi is more of a tourist beach - filled with people for the majority of the year. They've also got highschools up there, public and private depending what you want.

- Bondi and Coogee are in the Eastern suburbs, not the Northern Beaches. The best northern beach suburbs are from Newport beach and north. Anything around here will be nice. If you Google it you will see there are two sides to the peninsula. Pittwater on one side and the beach on the other. The further north you go the more expensive real estate becomes. Palm Beach is the most expensive, then Whale Beach. Personally I like Clareville. It is on the Pittwater side but very "rainforesty" for want of a better description. Lucky you!
