Quieter Beaches walkable disctance from Manly?

Are there any beaches that are no more than half an hours walk from Manly beach that are less crowded on the weekend ?

1. That's the best thing about Australia, we are surrounded by beaches. If you walk in either direction you are bound to find a piece of beach that is isolated. It won't be a patrolled beach though, so don't get it too deep. But fine for just sticking your feet in.
2. Like the first answer said, but remember we are having lots of problems with sharks just lately. Without patrols, it's not even safe to paddle in knee deep water.
3. There is nothing in walkable "disctance" but in 10 mins walk there is Mary jane beach & it is very popular especially if u have binoculars.
