PERIODS at the end of a CAPTION..?

In making captions (e.g. Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia)..well, that one I think, yes, it surely is not a complete sentence..DO I HAVE TO END IT WITH A PERIOD?

2. If it's a complete sentence, use a period. If it isn't, you don't have to, although no one will get confused if you do.
3. A caption is not necessarily a complete sentence, if not you use a comma. If it is you use a full stop.
