How can I compare the Great Barrier Reef and the Amazon Rainforest?

I'm not asking for someone to do my homework for me, these are the ecosystems I have chosen to write about, but they don't have much in common so I don't know how to "compare" them.

1. I'd probably do something about how each is under threat - the barrier reef from tourism and overfishing, the rainforest with logging and farming. Both have in common the fact that they are under threat from man.
2. the are both biomes which are under threat and can be ccomperedquite easily cause i did this for home work last year and just compaired them as 2 of the worlds key ecosystem
3. Both tropical rain forest and coral reefs are confined to the tropics, and both have a very large and varied ecosystem. They are very productive biologically. Also, as mentioned by the other respondednt both are very threatened by human activity. They are also very vulnerable systems to climate change and sea level change respectively.
