Why is the great barrier reef in australia is in danger ?

I know because of tourism but how ? I don't know understand how is it in danger, would someone plz explain it to me.

1. Global warming is causing coral bleaching, ie killing the coral that make up the reef.
2. It's endangered because of global warming. The water temperatures are getting hotter which is killing fish and underwater plants that live on the reef. The coral is also being losing it's food and colour because of the warmer water. Hope this helped you out!

4. Coral bleaching mostly. Effects of global warming has caused coral to become bleached, therefore, killing it and species dependent on coral.

Al gore will probably eat the great barrier reef on his conquest to gain more gamma rays, with these fantastic rays he will power a giant robot and devour the southern hemisphere knocking the earth out of orbit and hurling toward the largest gravitational pull which is the sun.
