Is Zakynthos a good clubbing, culture, beach holiday for teenage girls?

My friend and I want to go to Zakynthos or anywhere in Greece for a week or so of culture, sight seeing, relaxing in the day and great nightlife at night. We want to go to good clubs, and also salsa/meditteranean music bars etc. We're both 17 and don't want to go somewhere full of English chavs that's really touristy. Any ideas? Think cheap, affordable etc. Thanks.

We're both 17 and don't want to go somewhere full of English chavs Then avoid Laganas in Zakynthos - maybe go somewhere else - next town which I believe is Tsivili (correct me if I'm wrong) - you can always go for a night in Laganas should you need it - without staying there! For 'salsa' you need to choose another country!
2. yes love the island been four times and going again in july laganas is best for you tsilivi where i go is to quite more for familys stay away from kalamaki its very quite byut the island is great beware of airport its terrible but worth it
3. As another poster said, Lagana would be the "chavvy / touristy place" that you dont want, but definately the best clubs. Tsilivi is second best for clubbing, and has a nice beach, and good restaurants. Third best is Argasi. Anywhere else would probably be too quiet for you.
