Anyone taken a beach holiday with baby?

My son will be 2 years and baby will be 6 months. we would like to take a beach holiday and were thinking of fiji but am not sure about the vaccinations for baby. we are from australia. any suggestions for holidays with your young babies appreciated thanks!

1. We have done this. Not with a 6 month old but with a one year old and three year old at the time. First - get a good travel agent who can help you pick a place. We stayed at Club Med in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was amazing but a bit pricey. Probably far for an Aussie to go, but look at other Club Med locations. Not the adult spots, but he family resorts. They are awesome. Beaches resorts are also highly recommended.
