How do yo get your pilots license in western australia?

Does anyone know the requirements / duration and costs associated with obtaining your pilots license in western australia?

1. Best way to find out is to phone a local flying school that offers lessons. My sons friend has his pilots licence at 18 and flys solo. I know he has been a number of years getting it. But we are in Victoria
2. First off its going to be very pricey. You need to make sure your willing to spend more then a thousand dollars on something like this just to get the license. Look up on the search: Private aviation license west australia; and see what you can find.
