what are the beaches like in Texas?

I live in San diego ca and want to know a comparison of the two

1. they're okay, i suggest you visit south padre, tx..one of the nicest beaches in Tx.
2. The beaches in Texas are ok, certainly not as nice as the average beach in California. The beach cities in California are also really nice ... Texas, not so much. Padre Island National Seashore is the nicest beach area of Texas.
3. They are not great. California beaches are much nicer.
