What are the best beaches to visit at the Cayman Islands and Jamaica?

I'm going on a cruise and I'd really like to just chill on a beach for one of the days. So which beach is best on either of the two islands?

1. i have never been to Jamacia as yet but i have heard people say that sandals hotel is really nice so i am guessing that it has a nice sea veiw as well which means it has a beach! =)
2. When you get off the ship in Grand Cayman, just head left and after a short walk you'll find yourself at the start of the famous Seven Mile Beach. You can walk up it and decide when it's time to flop down and chill out. If you want to go further up the beach, for example to Governor's Harbour, I recommend that you take a bus -- they are quite economical and will pick you up and set you down where you wish.
3. Negrils seven miles is the best in Jamaica. It may not be convenient to head there though, depending on where your ship is docked.
4. Convenience wise, Grand Cayman would be the better spot for a beach. Ocho Rios and Montego Bay have some beaches but most of them are attached to resorts. You can easly get to a beach in Grand Cayman by going left to Seven Mile Beach or right to a couple smaller less well known beaches (which are just a nice as 7MB).
