Are any beaches in eastern Texas open in November...?

For walking? Like Crystal beach? Or are they closed for a long time due to the Hurricane Ike?

1. our beaches are open year round
2. well, there aren't ANY beaches in Eastern Texas, but there are in Southern texas...... ;) but, like, I have no idea if they are open in November. who the heck would want to go to a beach when it is 19 degrees out....?
3. They are open so you can clean up the debris left by Ike.
4. they are always open south padre galveston and matagorda are always open for sure
