IS there any beaches in southern california i can go for a walk on at nighttime?

like late at night? i mean i dont want to go in the water but i would like to go for a "romantic" walk i guess, ive never done it lol... lol not worried about being mugged, i carry a knife at all times and he has a tazer

4. santa monica pier. there is a beach and entertainment around; shopping and restaurants are nearby as well.
