Has anyone vacationed in Costa Rica?

My husband and I are going there next weekend for 8 days. We are extremely excited but we do not know anyone who has vacationed there. We are staying at an all inclusive resort right on the beach and will be celebrating our second honeymoon and my husbands 30th birthday! We have booked a canopy excursion already. Has anyone taken a dinner cruise there before? Any information you could give would be great! Thanks! Also, will give out best answer award!

Just got back a few weeks ago. Fantastic time. We had a home, so can't really give info on the hotels. The canopy excursion was amazing to me, but tiresome to my girlfriend. It was hot and wet.
yea been there 3 times . Its awesome. plenty of stuff to do thorugh out. just make sure weather is good!
No, but my ex owns land there and just got back a month ago from staying in an all-inclusive resort with his wife. She had never been and he said her comment was "Screw Hawaii". This is where we are coming from now on. From everything I have heard it's amazing there. Take bug spray though.
it's the most beautiful country i've ever visited. very friendly people, the rain forrest is amazing. i can't remember if this is the rainy season or not though.
yes take along lots of bug spray, and look out for the big spiders, and then i heard about some tree swinging thing, make sure you check out the cables, anyway sure hope you have a wonderful time
