Beautiful beach near Ocho Rios, Jamaica?

I have booked a holiday to Ocho Rios in Jamaica and was wondering if anyone could recommend a nice beach thats near. I want somewhere with white sand, palm trees and clear crystal blue waters. I dont think the beach by my hotel looks that great. I dont want to have to go far so not interested in beaches that are too far away to get to. Thanks

1. Try Reggae Beach just outside of Ocho Rios. It's not a far drive at all.

3. MO had it right...Reggae Bech is 5-6 minutes from Ocho Rios & is gated with a bar, some water toys ( rentals ) and is as "tropical" as you can get close to town......I have a favorite thats what you descibed & secluded, but its a 45 minute drive from town.
