Is it really dangerous to have a house on a mountain?
it looks cool when the house is on the mountain but its gonna fall when theres a earthquake...soo what is the point of that? I know texas doesnt really have any houses like that....california..alot of houses r built like that...and florida...then i hear ppl say california is dumb to have houses right by the beach? but if u think about it alot of resorts..the houses r built by or on the beach..where there is danger of volcanoe activity?

- Anything can happen in life. The risk is everywhere... we all risk it anyway. No problem with your risk... risk it to be like every risky people on this planet.
- I wouldn't say it's dumb, but it's certainly risky. Natural disasters like floods and earthquakes can do a lot of damage, but if you can afford the outageous insurance on those properties, the view sure is gorgoues!
- California rules. It's cool to build houses on cliffs near the ocean, because if they fall into the ocean the houses behind them just become the new ocean-side housing.
- Just think of a wooden block, with little steel beams on a dirt mound. See it being washed away by the rain or the wind. Over time it will give way and fall over. More so with volcanic activity, new land mass, and earthquakes. On this Earth. with land surrounded by water mass, everything will all fall down eventually, over time. Especially on flat land. So you and I worrying about it is pointless.
