- yeah its so much fun you should go....my 2 yr old even had a good time..the prices on things aint bad either and the little resturants they have are good too
- Yes, I've been there with my kids. There are some things to keep in mind to have a great time This place is packed. I mean sardines in a tin can packed. To avoid the crowds, go on a Tuesday, wednesday or Thursday. Get there early--when the gates are open. Go to the most popular rides first, even if they are really far from the gate. Some lines might take more than an hour to get through. Stand next to your favorite people in line, because you might be next to them for ages! Ladies-wear a one-piece suit because there are several "rides" where you might loose your top. Bring towels and a bag with not-too-valuable stuff in it. Use these to claim a set of chairs in a shady spot, especially near the middle of the park. Send the kids back here if they become separated from the group. Bring your own drinks. The park ones are so expensive you might forget to have fun. Ditto the food. Bring a big diaper pin. Use this to pin your locker key inside your suit. My kid lost the one on the band last year. Big pain in the butt! WEAR HEAVY SUNBLOCK. Put it on fresh every 2 hours, more if you are pale. A bad burn will ruin your happy memories. Don't run anywhere. Traction on those natural stones is pretty bad. Don't forget that the water is not as clean and sanitary as it looks. Don't spit it on your friends (gross!) and avoid opening eyes under water. Don't wear your best suit, especially if it is really colorful. One of those pools had too much chlorine and my son's trunks faded a bit. Don't wear a knit suit. It will get snagged and will make "pills." There are always lots of discounts--check out soda cans. Arrive early and stay late. Midday is a great time to leave the park, go to your hotel for a nap and come back when the crowds thin out, usually at 4 or 5. If you don't live nearby, get a hotel room. Check weather in advance. If there is lightning, they will close the park. That said, cloudy days are generally more pleasant than sunny ones. Less crowded too! Take more money than you think you'll need. You'll need it. GO on all the rides you think will be too scarey. They aren't and you will have great fun and great memories. Have a great time! I wish I could go, too!!!!!
