Where is a good all-inclusive resort in Costa Rica?
My fiance and I are trying to plan our honeymoon. We want good food, nice beaches, and fun activities like hiking in the rainforest and such.

- Here is a web page which can help you decide according to your taste: http://www.govisitcostarica.com/category/hotels/allInclusiveResorts.asp There you can browse resorts by reviews, name, location, etc, I went to Barcelo Playa Langosta and it was great although not recommended for honeymooners, lots of kids around doing lots of activities. Try this web page, lots of excellent info plus pictures and reviews of all resorts in Costa Rica.
- My husband and I went to Flamingo Beach Resort (http://www.resortflamingobeach.com/) and had a really good time. The all-inclusive package includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, bottled water, colas, cocktails and national liquours (some of them are foreign). The beach is just wonderful, and there are some fun tours. We took the ATV tour and had a blast; we visited several beaches and when we got back, we were covered in dust, I mean, we were really brown! LOL We went there in December, which is the dry season.
- check out websites for Puerto Jimenez and the Osa Peninsula, and Corcovado National Park.
- I would highly recommend Playa Tambor resort. You fly into San Juan and then take a small connector flight to Playa Tambor. Absolutely beautiful and amazing place in Costa Rica.
- that's Melia Paradisus Playa and golf resort. one of the best beaches in costa rica. no high waves, white beach and the water is blue. its not far from different places like tamarindo or flamingo beach. another is the La Paz Waterfall Garden. right in the mountain and the food with the great falls is awsome. either one of them is an A+
- It depends a little bit on whats your budget. There are 5 star all inclusive Resorts, like Paradisus Playa Conchal at the north pacific or Grand Papagayo, which is really nice for honeymooners (almost no children and beautiful). All others are either 4 or 3 stars or not all inclusive. Also nice for honeymooners and great if you are looking for rainforest, etc is Manuel Antonio and its National Park (Hotels: Si Como No, El Parador, La Mansion, etc). South Pacific as Osa Peninsula or Drake Bay is beatiful, but you have to fly there and it is very away from everything, but great if you are up to adventure and something different, no resorts here, only lodges, but some of them high class (Corcovado Lodge, etc). Good luck
