Any affordable resorts in Florida on a beach that holds weddings and beach front receptions?
My goal is to spend less than 5k out the door pricing.

- If you're looking for a beautiful beach resort style house with a wedding package...try calling (or loging on to) RESORT REALTY in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. They can arrange the whole thing affordably. www.resortrealty.com
- What is affordable for you? You need to give us an idea on how much you are willing to pay.
- Bahai Beach Resort and Marina is a fabulous place for that. There's weddings out there near the dock all the time. Beach area and banquet facilities, tiki bar with live music, etc. We love it! Here's a link. http://www.marinersclubbahiabeach.com/
- I signed up just to answer your question...... This is our favorite place, we go every year for Mothers Day. The Shores Out of Daytona Beach http://www.shoresresort.com/ I have seen a few weddings there each time while we stay. It is very elegant. They have bars on the deck and a fire pit at night.
- I was in Sanibel Island, Fl and it was beautiful. It is on the Gulf of Mexico. I stayed at the Sanibel Inn. I don't know if they do weddings, but there are a lot of hotels there, try the websites. If I can help you in any other way, let me know.
- You should check out Sanibel Island FL. I have been going there for years and you can have a wedding on any budget. There are several hotels and resorts that offer wedding packages. There is also a wonderful lady that owns Weddings By The Sea. She is a local and has been living on the island for years. She does the most beautiful weddings and can assist you with anything. She also plans wedding for any budget. Of course on Sanibel you only need the permit and the justice of the peace to marry you, so you really do not even need an hotel. Anywhere on the Island is beautiful to get married at. They have wonderful white beaches and sparkling blue water. They also have the best shelling in the world. Most people get married at sunrise or sunset that really makes a gorgeous background to your wedding. Here are some great websites for planning a beach wedding on Sanibel: Best wedding planner around: http://www.sanibelcaptivaweddings.com/ Helpful websites with wedding info, places and regulations: http://www.sanibel-captiva.org/weddings/index.asp http://www.sanibelbeachweddings.com/wedding-photographs.htm http://www.royalshellwedding.com/ Resorts and Hotels that offer wedding packages: http://www.casaybelweddings.com/intimate.htm http://www.sanibel-resort.com/ http://www.sanibelbeachresort.com/Sanibel-Island-Weddings/index.htm http://www.sundialresort.com/weddings_and_meetings/weddings.cfm http://www.westwindinn.com/weddings.htm http://www.tween-waters.com/Weddings.cfm These are just some other interesting sites with different ideas for FL beach weddings: http://www.uniquedestinationweddings.com/ceremony.htm http://www.uniquedestinationweddings.com/ceremony.htm http://www.floridabeachesguide.com/top-ten-florida-beaches/wedding.aspx http://www.fortmyers-sanibel.com/cms/d/sanibel_captiva_islands_florida.php?CMP=KNC-repriseyahoo&HBX_PK=island_sanibel&HBX_OU=51 http://www.floridaweddings.com/photo_sanibel.htm http://www.musicmanpro.com/destination-weddings-in-southwest-florida.html I would also recommend the FL Keys there are several beautiful islands to choose from and again you can do an wedding on any budget: There is also Flagler Beach which is really nice and pretty secluded or even St. Augustine. St. Augustine is the oldest city in the US and it is very beautiful. You can take a horse and carriage to and from your wedding. It really has old world charm and yes they have several resorts there. Here are some sites for these places: http://www.flkeysweddings.com/ http://fla-keys.com/ http://keywest.com/weddings/index.htm http://www.thefloridakeys.com/islandweddings/ http://goflorida.about.com/od/planningyourtrip/ss/weddings_5.htm http://www.weddingsinthefloridakeys.com/ http://www.stgeorge-inn.com/florida_weddings.html http://www.oldcity.com/ http://www.staugustinewedding.org/wedding%20locations/receptions.htm http://www.latigo.net/wedding.htm http://www.getaway4florida.com/ I would also start with the visitors center for you location. Most of them have websites and you can email them for help. This is a FREE service so why not use it. Contact them and tell them about what you want to do, your budget, and the dates. They will be able to direct you to locations that fit your budget, info on the marriage license, photographers, florist, wedding planners and more. They really are very helpful and again FREE so use them! They are also locals so they really know the good locations. Congrats on your wedding!
