Where can I take my unlicensed ATV in Galveston, Texas?
I would like to take my ATV (four wheeler) to Galveston Beach in Texas to ride, but on the Crystal Beach/Bolivar website it says it does not allow unlicensed ATVs. Does anyone know of a beach near or on Galveston where I can take my ATV? Would like to go on Thursday. Thanks for your help! And no... no time to get it licensed as we wanted to take our cousin out on it while he was in town. Maybe we'll license it in the future, but looking for a quick fix for now.

- Wouldn't it just be easier to get it licensed? How much can it be?
- State of Texas requires licensed vehicles unless on your own private property. You can always take the chance and drive it anyways. If you get a ticket they will require that you have it registered within so many days and show proof. Or you can always play dumb and try to get out of the ticket.
- We took an unlicensed four wheeler to Crystal Beach, and rode it for a few hours before law enforcement asked us not to ride it.... No ticket. Not saying you wouldn't get one, but they have bigger fish to fry....
