Texas Beaches....Rockport/ Fulton Area?

I have heard about Brazos Port for beach combing/ sea shell hunting. Not very familiar with that area..... was wondering if there is a cool beach near Rockport/Fulton for beachcombing? Does not have to be touristy or have a lot of attractions in the area. Just want to find some cool "sea treasures" while bumming around the beach next weekend. Thanks in advance! :-)
