where are the best beaches in Texas to take the kids to find seashells??

1. i've been there only once, but the Galveston beaches have a variety of seashells. BUt the water is practically black. Also there are some beaches in Galveston where you are not allowed to pick up the seashell, but you can as long as they don't see you.
2. Port Aransas,Texas on Mustang Island!There are TONS of great restaurants and souvenir shops and the beach is beautiful.I live near this area.
3. Galveston is good I would also consider Port Aransas or perhaps somewhere along Padre Island.
4. Go to Flordia. Texas Beaches are none too glamourous. They are stinky too. Water is brown and sludgy. FL (gulf side) is so much more prestine. And Clearwater Is a great place to find all kinds of seashells!
