Who knows beaches in the California Bay area?
My friends and I want to plan a bonfire at the end of summer. What would be the best beach to have it at? We live in the east bay area.

- My friends and I are having a bonfire as well, and we found out that the best place for it would be at Belmont Park. Go to the 8 East, then get off on the SeaWorld exit, then take the first right. It loops around and over the road you were on (I forget the name) but that road will take you right to it. I suggest MapQuest, though. Have fun!
- First off, belmont beach is in so cal, so don't go there! Try going to this link which has a list of beaches to check out, and tells you whether or not bonfires are allowed: http://bayinsider.ktvu.com/recreation/guides/beaches/ I read that Ocean beach lets you have bonfires, but its in SF. In my experience the best places to have a bon fire is Santa Cruz--26th Ave. Also, four mile beach is a cool spot (On CA 1 four miles north of Santa Cruz (thus the name) near where the highway crosses Baldwin Creek)... Have fun!
