Does anyone know where I can find sand dollars at any of the Orange County, California beaches?

I'm going sand dollar hunting and I was wondering if anyone knew where at the OC beaches I could find some. A name/location of a beach would be great. Thanks :)

1. pch along the wetlands..in HB
2. If they are there you have to search early, at day break. If you want good ones, anyway. The gulls look for them, too, and break them to eat the insides. Look very early after a heavy surf.
3. I used to live in the OC and can tell you I never found a sand dollar on the beach. But there were some cute shops on Balboa Island, Newport beach and Huntington Beach which are all along PCH Route 1.
