North Caicos or Provodenciales?
Thinking of Turks and Caicos in July for a quite holiday with a baby just to relax and swim/snorkel on or very near a great beach. Not looking for crowds/nightlife either and I'm a bit worried that Grace Bay is a bit commercialized. Also, are mosquitoes a big problem then?

- I would think after a rain any where in the Caribbean the mosquitoes will come out especially in the summer months. Grace Bay Beach is awesome for swimming and relaxing. We spent 10 days on Providenciales and it was wonderful and not that crowded. There are alot of resorts on Grace Bay but it's spread out. check this link out for other locations on Providenciales http://www.wherewhenhow.com Have a great time. Turks and Caicos is lovely)
- Mosquitoes are a common problem throughout the year in every island in the Caribbean. That's the uncoolest thing living here. I'll suggest you bring along skin repelant such as 'OFF', Bugmat or insecticide. Yes, Grace Bay may be a bit commercialized but it is a MUST GO & TAKE A DIP if you are going to Provo because it IS is one of the world's finest beaches! Check out these websites, it provides you with info about things you can do on your vacation. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Tourism-g147399-Providenciales_Turks_and_Caicos-Vacations.html http://www.turksandcaicos.tc/providenciales/index.htm http://www.turksandcaicostourism.com/go/en/activities-providenciales.html Enjoy it for me too :-)
