how warm is it in myrtle beach, south carolina during spring break?

me and my family going to myrtle beach during spring break (march 23rd to march 29th). how warm do you think it will be? oh really, right now (according to weather.com) its like 55 degrees and its febuary.

1. It may warm up to 45 or 50 some days... Why do you think that, just because it's on the water, it's WARM?... March is COLD next to the Atlantic Ocean
2. I stop through Myrtle Beach every year in March on my spring break and it's hard to say for sure just how warm it's gonna be. It could be chilly - highs in the 50's like it is now, or it could be just as warm as florida - highs in the 80's...I've experienced a wide range of temps...March is just a wierd month for weather pretty much in all of the north and southeast. However if I had to be more specific...I'd say the highs should most likely be between 60-70 degrees
3. It can vary a lot in Myrtle Beach in March, can be nice and warm or can be pretty cool. The long term average temperature for March 23 - 29 is about 68-70 degrees. But thats an avg. It can be much Warmer. The record high for March 29 is 90 degrees. Or it can be cooler. The record low is 49. Last year, 2007, it was in the lower 80s on march 28 and 29th. I go every year in early March and its usually pretty nice. Can be cool sometimes
