Where is the best place to buy a home near Myrtle beach, south carolina?

I heard it is cheaper to live outside the city. We were thinking of little river. I just wanted some other places to look. My husband sells boats so he nears to be close to the water. Maybe tops a 30 minute drive. We are looking to live fairly cheap.

We live in Brunswick county, North Carolina and as you know, MB is right on the line pretty much....I know its cheaper in the more rural areas and there is plenty of beach towns all along the coast in Brunswick county that might serve his purpose rather than trying for MB...it is outrageous there!!
2. I live in Conway, SC, just 20 minutes from Myrtle Beach! It is one of the fastest growing towns in America! Plus the property is much cheaper than at the beach. The house my wife I bought cost 118,000 dollars, the same size house at the beach more than doubles that dollar amount! The best thing is they are building new developments every where in the Conway area, just in my development they are in the fifth phase of construction! I remember when it was just woods! keep it in mind
3. CONWAY FOR SURE BABYSAM SAID IT AND ON THE WAY TO MB ON HWY 544 I KNOW YOU PASS AT LEAST 2 BOAT DEALERSHIPS BEFORE YOU GET THERE I'M NOT SURE WHAT ALL IS IN MB
