  1. Pattaya, Koh Samui, Phuket
  2. I like Karon Beach. Going there Feb. 13th. It's far enough away from the action to relax and close enough to hit it for a late night or 2. Krabi beach is also has a good beach. Ao Nang is nice with huge cliffs and lots of islands close by. Have fun I know I will
  3. The cheapest beaches will be during rainy season, so depending on where you go see if there are rainy season prices. Bangkok in February is the dry season, but in other beaches it may be the rainy season, ie going down south. One of my favorite beaches and probably the cheapest and not well known is Cococape in Koh Mak, just a few hours away from Bangkok. Here is the web address for it http://www.kohmakcococape.com/ I have compiled a list of beaches from my ebook http://www.bangkok-secrets.com that you should find useful. Top 5 beautiful beaches 1. Freedom Beach, Phuket 2. Ao Maya, Phi-Phi Islands 3. Pak Meng, Trang 4. Poda Island, Krabi 5. Sairee Beach, Koh Tao Top 5 tranquil beaches to be enjoyed with a book 1. Rai Leh Beach, Krabi 2. Ao Prao Beach, Koh Samet 3. Koh Ngai/Koh Hai, Trang 4. Jomtien, Pattaya 5. Laem Singh, Phuket Top 5 Party beaches 1. Hat Pattaya, Pattaya 2. Patong, Phuket 3. Haad Rin Nok, Koh Phangan 4. Lamai, Koh Samui 5. White Sand Beach, Koh Chang Top 5 family friendly beaches 1. Kata Yai, Phuket 2. Hua Hin 3. Long Beach, Koh Lanta 4. Surin, Phuket 5. Cha-am
  4. phuket has some of the greatest beachs, febuary samui will be in monsoon season, railey beach is also a hidden little gem, near krabi with cheap accomadation
  5. phuket definitely. they have 3 major beaches - kata, karon and patong. i like kata better. it is clean and the beach is really nice. karon is also good but it's seasonal (not safe on off seasons, i guess). patong is more commercial and has more activities. it's good if you're into this kind of thing.
  6. pattaya has a very, very ugly beach. the water is even to dirty to swim. phuket is extrem overcrowded (only north of kamala it is nice) and two times more expensive than the other beach destinations. february is not the rainy season on samui. february is even the dryest month. my recommendation: - ko lanta - ko chang - ko samet (avoid the weekends) - ko phangan - ko lipe
  7. Koh Samui and Phuket
  8. Have many beautiful and non- turistet beaches on the west coast south of Ranong. But Koh Tao is among foreigners living here a very good place. look more here. http://kohtao.com/
  9. I went to thailand in june last year. We island hopped. Phuket- kata beach was really nice and beautiful. patong beach was really seedy and not nice at all. Get in a tuktuk and get him to take you from patong to kata. you'l go past other beaches on the way (that arent as nice) and its a lovely ride going round the bays. Do one of the trips to the islands on the speedboats. They take you to some lovely islands with nice beachs. Pattaya was quite seedy and not very nice. KOH SAMUI- you have to go here. do some of the trips to islands around and you'll experience plenty of nice beaches. The main beach in koh samui is quite nice too. dunno what february weather in koh samui is like though... ? Phi Phi island was simply magical. You must go here nad get one of the little brown boats to different areas. beautiful water and island scenary like in the movie the beach. sometimes its not all about the beaches. its about the scenary and beauty around you so definitely reccommend phi phi enjoy
