1. The "Gold Coast" in Michigan. West coast along Lake Michigan. Great sand, no salt, no weird ocean stuff. Great weather. Great people. Dunes! Waves! Beautiful! Don't ignore it just because it's not on the ocean...been to beaches all over, and always love coming home.
