  2. It's just got to be White Beach Boracay, a paradise within paradise. Wide white beaches and warm seas.
  3. Boracay and puerto galera have the best of them. But you're quite late. The rainy season is already here in the country. It's just a matter of time before we are hit by another tropical cyclone.
  4. www.palmas-del mar.com. my very favorite place to relax with good food and excellant service. 5 star treatment at a 3 star rate ! 45 min planeride from Manilla.
  5. Boracay, but if the weather does not permits then go to Palawan, like El Nido or Dos Palmas, its safe to go there.
  6. DO NOT GO TO BORACAY! Dont get me wrong. Its a nice place but its extremely overrated. Its also loud and overcrowded. I have spent months at sea going to isalnd to island and beach to beach all over the country and there are a lot of places faaaaaaar better than boracay. The lure of boracay is its party scene. It has rows and rows of bars playing loud music. Its a victim of its own success that it has become overcrowded and polluted. If you like to party and dont like to swim, you will probably enjoy boracay. I recommend going to El Nido. Try Minoloc island or Lagen. Its a bit pricey, but its well worth it. From there you can access many islands nearby. Not only do you get whole beaches to yourself, you get whole islands to yourself. You're sure to get peace and quiet, and quality time with whoever you're going with. It can be hard to decide where to go sometimes because some places look better in pictures. With el nido though, i can say from personal experience that pictures doesnt do the place justice.
  7. Since you want to retreat to somewhere quiet then go to Palawan instead of Boracay. Stay at El Nido, Dos Palmas, Club Noah, or Amanpulo.
