We are going to south east asia for 2 months in May and want to know where the best beaches are.?

We are spending 1 month in Thailand and are then planning to go to Sihanoukville, has anyone been here af if so is it a nice beach? We are then going to Vietnam can anyone reccommend a good beach resort. Any other suggestions would be gratly appreciated.

come here in the philippines. you can go to boracay or palawan.

Just avoid lonely places; turists are always an easy target (even here in the US).
would you mind if i say.....: Indonesia?? --i personally loved it!!!!, and the best thing is you can have a great time in Bintan Resorts (= Lagoi) by the beach, and then if you like to pass over in Bintan you go through quite a view: barbed wire, checkpoints and armed guards. ...rent a car with a driver (not so expensive, S$100) and visit the real Bintan
after koh samui, koh lanta and hua hin in thailand. i find sihanoukville in combodia a great disappointment. the beach is not well kept. i have only been to danang and muine in vietnam and i enjoyed them more than sihanoukville. but danang offers better atmosphere and clearer waters than muine but it is more commercialised. in muine you can visit the fishermen's village and see their way of fishing. you can try nathrang too but i havent been there.
All in Indonesia nice beaches and more heritage because in Java island was Big Kingdom. Cheers
been round thailand quite a bit and south east asia and if i could afford the ticket back it would most definetly be to borocay, philippines, i made it to palawan last trip and the country is just amazing (a very over used word) would so so so recommend it!!!
since you are looking for the best beaches... try my country Philippines. Isla Verde, one of our beach sites, is the world's most diverse marine site... this was recognized by no less than the United Nation. :) of course there is also the world reknowned Boracay and Palawan.
