Do all resorts have topless beaches in the Dominican Republic?
Public Comments
- really ? I will book a flight right away thanks, probably only the tourist beaches.
- No, they don't.
- NO! If you are looking for topless check with your travel agent. Topless isn't forever one! Lol come to Canada it's not against the law for woman to be topless.
- The above answers are not really true. The resorts (Mexico, Jamacia, Bahamas, DR, anywhere) do allow for topless sunbathing on the beaches. With the exception of the adults only resorts, topless is not allowed at the pool. They have to allow the topless sunbathing for the European crowds.
- Not allowed in the Dominican Republic I know I´m a vip tour operator in the Dominican Rep. Gilbert
- there was def lots of topless women around when we ere there, most women were walking across beach topless.
- It's not that they are topless, it's that a lot of europeans visit the resorts and they go topless. Just go and have fun. It's really not a big deal.
- dont' know if there are actual topless beaches, but i've seen lots of people just go topless. its usually the people you wish wouldn't go topless, but it's all good...they are on vacation too!
- There aren't beaches specifically for being topless. There are people on the beach who are topless, but definately not everyone. And most resorts frown on women being topless around the pool. If you are looking to see topless women then you will see plenty, but if you are looking for a more conservative experience then you should stay by the pool.
- I don't know of any topless beaches in the DR but I do know some hotels or resorts have one pool desiganted for topless and adult only. We stayed at Sun Village and they have 7 pools one of which was for topless sunbathing. Hope that helps.
