Where is the best place for a beach holiday this december?

My best friend and I both got our leave from work this december and we are planning on a beach holiday. Is it a good idea to visit Greece or Cyprus? Ibiza, perhaps? Which places this december will make a perfect holiday getaway? Please help!

2. OK, if you're considering Cyprus, I gather you're not looking for REALLY hot weather! If you want uncrowded beaches that stretch for kilometres, great scenery, relaxing surroundings and perhaps the odd round of golf, head for North Cyprus. In December the sun shines and the weather is warm, although I don't think it's exactly sunbathing weather! (Take a look at the weather details at the web site below.) To be honest, nowhere in the Mediterranean is going to be suitable for a hot beach holiday in December: you'll need to head much further south for that.
