Please help me find the perfect Philippine Beach Resort.? My wife and I are looking for a philippine beach resort. We went to Coco Grove Resort last year and looking for a similar resort. Looking for a resort with a pool, on the beach, tropical setting, able to drive to from Manila or Cebu for under $100/night. Can you help?

What is the name of the beach resort in Philippine which the sand is so white?

could you help me look for this philippine beach resort? it has to be only a 2 to 3-hour drive from manila. the beach should have good, white (or off-white) sand and a kid-friendly landscape. it should have a family cottage to house 5-7 people (2 of which are kids under 10 years old). the cottage should be air-conditioned with a tv set and a kitchen where we can cook our own food. and there should be amenities like a swimming pool, a fishing pond, and a possible boat ride. i know it's too much to ask. but if you have any idea if this resort exists in the philippines, do tell me. thanks in advance!

i purchase a land by the beach in the philippine island. i would like to start a resort is this a good idea? the land is about an hour away from the airport but 30 minutes away from the city.

We have very big natural resources such as our sea water in our archipelago which is ready for investment like fish culture business, or sea transportation business, beach resorts, etc... I have Spanish guest visiting Cebu and would like to feel "authentic Filipino way of living", any suggestions? They are going to be here on January. Short Term Accommodation Philippines? hi Going to Manila Philippines leaving Ireland on the 2nd Sept arriving back on the 5 Oct,its over a Month it is long for a holiday and would be expensive to get accommodation for that term,i guess, looking for any advice on getting the right place,cheaper the better,(as my uncle would say lol), i was thinking a 1br apartment,i took a look on the internet for short term accommodation,some stand out some don't, i was looking for beach resorts not going to stay in Manila for long probably just the night would have Looc Bay in mind San Francisco San Andres near by, any advice be great,a link to a philippine forum would be great..Thanks what area's in the philippines would be more adjusted to tourists,remote and not to near the citys..

why east asians are so into traveling and this whole "tourist groups" thing? have you noticed that a bus full of east asian tourists stop by of your city with a tourist guide probably doesnt even really know what he's talking about? (they're mostly japanese, but many also from hong kong, china and taiwan. there might be some south korean too but i probably just never noticed it). those are the "tourist groups" im talking about (directly translated from chinese). what's funny is that unlike your average tourists, they're not only just stay at the vacational spots such as beach, resort hotel...etc, but they're actually goes deep into the country they're traveling. that caused them a lotta troubles and i've heard stories such as hong kong tourist group got kidnapped somewhere in philippine, taiwanese tourist group got trapped in a town in south egypt during the egyptian protest that's going on. and many of them act pretty damn stupid too, for example like they try to smuggle a whole bunch of left over of their dinner from the hotel out of the country. for real, i personally think that these tourist groups really make us east asians look bad. they portraited us as bunch of rich, dumb fat sheeps for third world people to rip off and rob. do they think that they can act without common sense in other countries without getting into shits just because they're in group? they make those ignorant american tourists in the movie "hostel" looks smart. yea well but they dont have to do some dumb shits such as smuggling their dinner left over out of the country. and they dont have to travel deep into a third world country and got the whole group into troubles with the impoverished locals. those are really dumb, childish and without common sense. they're making us look like some rich spoiled brats that's even worse than americans and without any common sense. and what's even worse is the frequency: they love to travel more than americans or even europeans, and the people in those tourist groups done nothing but make east asians look like some socially challenged dumb asses.

vacation to Cebu --> pocket money? Hey =]... I haven't been to the Philippine for almost 7 years now, and im planning to go back to Cebu this summer, and i'll be staying there for about 5 to 6 weeks.... Is 1000 canadian dollars (around 41, 500 PHP) enough for a pocket money? or is it lacking? ~I dont have to worry about where i'm staying because we still have houses there (so i'm deff. not spending my money there..) but i am planning to stay at a couple of resorts for a couple of days (i.e. Plantation bay/Shrangri-La or Cebu beach club) ~I'm planning to go to bohol/bantayan and manila ~I dont plan to eat out everyday but i do plan to eat a lot =D ~and of course, most of the money is going towards shopping So is the money enough... if not. can anyone estimate how much should i bring? Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta? I'll be arriving at Jakarta airport via Philippine Airlines and I have a connecting flight to Denpasar, Bali via Air Asia. Are these two airlines in the same terminal or do I have to transfer? How easy is it to get to my domestic flight (Air Asia) from my international flight (Philippine Airlines)? I have an seven-hour layover. Can I go out of the airport to explore a bit? Is there anything to see close to the airport? Or is it better for me to stay in the airport? Are there things to do? I know I don't need a Visitor on Arrival visa. Assuming I'll have bags, is there depository/storage service in the airport short-term? Do you have feedback on Kinds Villa Bintang, Nusa Dua? I heard the resort itself is good but the beach is not so nice. Thank you. How far is this resort from the Denpasar airport?

If I build a camping resort, would other foreigners come to it? I intend to build near the ocean with my fruit tree farm on one side of the road and rent tents to campers on the ocean side, near or on the beach. It has nearly white sand and is very nice. I am building a round swimming pool with a water slide on it and will provide U.S. meals and Philippine food as well. I will also have a convenience store, barber, driver/car, boat tours and several other features set up. If anyone can think of anything I missed, please let me know, as I want this as nice as possible. Oh, and it will be in Bohol, very quiet, clean and safe. What is a cabana? Fishing trips can be arranged and the showers/toilets are included in the septic plans. Maybe personal sized sailing craft would be nice for the more adventurous.

half man - half horse in phillippines? okay this is kinda freaky. i had been to a long vacation in the phillippines... urdaneta, pangasinan to be exact. i got really sick the first 4 days so i stayed home at my grandma's house? one night, it was raining and there was lightning and thunder. my grandma has a a huge garden in front of her house. i was looking out the window, admiring the rain and lightning flashes.. in the garden i see a half man-half horse looking creature looking straight at me. i was home alone and i freaked out. almost s*it my pants. then a week later, i stayed at the mayor resort with my family. we were sleeping in his guest house in the back. i was taking a shower and decided to look out the window to look at the beach, eventhough it was night time. i saw light from a boat or something afar and it flashed in my face and i saw the same creature looking dead at me. i freaked out again. where can i find info on this half man-half horse? i heard it's a filipino myth... filipinos let me know!
