Anyone know a Tae Kwon Do club in the Warringah-ish Northern Beaches area, that trains most days of the week? I need somewhere near Manly, Warringah Mall or Balgowlah(That sort of area). A 15 minute drive, maximum, away from any of these places would be great. I need there to be training almost every day of the week, morning or afternoon doesn't matter, (but not in school times) Thanks.

Work commute from Northern Beaches to CBD - how? Hi, I'll shortly be working in Sydney CBD for a while, and probably staying somewhere in the Northern Beaches area (Narrabean or similar). I know there's no trains in that area, so what's my best option to get into the city each day? Bus? or drive to Manly and ferry? or drive west to the railway? or perhaps drive all the way & pay for parking? Advice please!

Is it safe to take an Asian GF to a Manly Pub tomorrow to watch the game? Are the Northern Beaches racist? Would that be asking for a fight? She's a Naturalised Australian, with Spanish/Fillipina/Malay looks and is quite hot. If its good enough for Beaver Menzies, would it be a problem in a Manly Pub? Iaido or ninjutsu training sydney manly? hi i'm 14 and i live at many, northern beaches, sydney. and i was wondering if there was any iaido or ninjutsu dojos around. i want to train with weapons more than hand to hand. can someone please help me or suggest a different martial art (not kendo please) that works with weapons. thanks! well i knew that i would have to go and to some training before they would tech with metal weapons but i was asking for a location on any dojos around my named location. if there are any then j will Heck up on their regulations which may not be the same as what you have just stated.

Which NRL Club has the 'toughest' supporters? I'm not trying to provoke arguments (this isn't the gay fl section!). However, when you think about the geographic fan base of several Clubs, would you consider Penrith or Parramatta the strongest (toughest), as the Parra fans were once called the 'Parramatta Army'. Or would you say the Bulldogs with their huge Lebanese fan base (I hate them & just can't rate them!). Manly with their large Kiwi fan base on the Northern Beaches, or the Cowboys, who must be tough for living up there in Mining towns & Cattle Stations? Hope you find this Q interesting & it inspires colourful debate! Also 'toughness' being streetwise or genuine hardness! I lived in QLD for four years, but would def rate Cowboys tougher than Broncos... Hell, I forgot about the Warriors, with all of NZ behind them! We may have found the answer.... Its funny though growing up in Soth Western Sydney, we never feared the Maoris, we just beat them! I would never mouth off over there though, in a "Once were Warriors" town. Lebs can only fight 20 on 1, not even Maoris like them!

How much excess did you pay going private??? (Australia)? My hubby & I have been TTC for the past 11 months & before we started we discussed getting private health cover for the birth etc. & decided against it as 2 of my friends had given birth at our local hospital & had good experiences however I recently had a miscarriage & had to have the D&C at our local hospital (it's the best out of the 2 around our area) & had the most horrible horrible experience (very very long story) anyway now we're trying to decide if we should get private cover or not... I've heard that it ends up being really really expensive like $5,000 - $10,000 & that's allot of money when we're also going to be paying $250 p/month for the health insurance itself!!! So I just want to get some opinions & an idea on how much it costs everyone & what your experiences have been (I'm on the Northern Beaches in Sydney so my local hospitals are Mona Vale & Manly).... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

R&S friends....what's happening this weekend?
