Where are the best places to stay in Manly and Manly Beach, New South Wales, Australia? We are traveling to NSW in a few weeks and we would like to stay at, or on, a good surf beach near Sydney. I have heard good things about Manly but I am unsure about the accomodations. We are low-key visitors who prefer to stay away from the tourist traps and just enjoy the local lifestyle. Any suggestions or advice about places to stay in Manly would be greatly appreciated. [And, if you've any input on fave places to stay in Sydney, I'd love to read it]. Thanks for your Answers!
Should I move to Manly or Bondi Beach? I am moving to a Sydney from the US in a couple months and am trying to figure out where exactly I should live. I am definitely keen on the idea of living in a beach neighborhood - and Manly and Bondi are the 2 beaches that I hear about the most! I need some more info and help on deciding which one would be a better fit for me (or if you think there is a better beach area than those 2, let me know as well)...here are some things to factor into my decision: - Commute. The shorter my commute to work is, the better (obviously!) I almost definitely wouldn't want to have a commute more than an hour, and a 45-minute or especially a half-hour commute would be nice. My office will be in North Sydney (5 Blue Street to be exact). I'm not sure I would have a car, so my commuting options would either be a ferry, bus, or train. - Type of people. While I like to go out and have fun, I am a little bit more down-to-earth, so I might not like a beach that is overly pretentious or trendy. From what I've read so far, Manly might be better than Bondi in this regard, but I wouldn't mind more insight on this. - Things to do. I definitely want an area that has a pretty good amount of nightlife, restaurants, shops, sports and beach activities, etc. - Also, other things to consider: I am 30 years old but still like to go out a decent amount at night - but am hoping for an area that has a great nightlife but with a lot of young professionals in their mid-late 20s or early 30s....and not dominated by students and other people in their young 20s. Also, it wouldn't hurt if the suburb I'm in I can get to other fun areas of the city pretty easily. Thanks for your help! Any specifics as to why you think one beach would be a better fit for me, over the other beach, I would greatly appreciate!!! :)
Best Beach In Sydney? I am planning a trip this December and wanted to try surfing... we will spending a few days in Sydney... what are the best beaches? Here are the ones I have found so far, and I don't know anything about any of them! What kind of beaches and swells are best for learning to surf? I want to learn to surf, and am unsure which beach to go to. There are many surf schools on different beaches, and I want to choose one which is suitable for beginners. I like Manly Beach in Sydney, but its swell heights are typically more than 2ft. What would be the highest swell that a beginner could still comfortably learn on?
What are the best photographic opportunities in Sydney? I am just getting into Photography at the moment. I am looking to take some photographs in Sydney. Wedding reception venues for under $95 per head near Sydney? Our ideal locations would be Berry, Kangaroo Valley, Gerringong, Hunter Valley or the Northern Beaches (Manly etc). Your recommendations of actual venues would be much appreciated. Thank you

*Summer '09* Beach Body tips? Any answer is cool!? We all want that hot beach bod, so i was wondering if you guys had a few work out tips that are fun and work well! (im a girl btw) and i dont want big, manly muscles. Just firm and not...flappy. And i know crunches and running on the treadmill works, but its just so boring! I want a more fun way to work out, so i can inspire my friends too! ~*~ Heres some of my tips~*~ -eating actually helps to lose weight! If you eat the right amounts of fruits and vegetables, and make fun, healthy meals, youre actually helping to burn up carbs! -walking still burns fat! On lazy days, or when you hang out with your friends, go out and walk to the mall, to a cafe (like starbucks) or to cute little stores in your town. Youll get a workout, save money on gas, and not bug everyone to give you a ride! -eat slowly, not quickly. That helps your body process more of the nutrients iinstead of the unhealthy stuff. -Good oral hygine and overall hygine helps your whole body glow! ~*~ well, thats it for me! Workout tips and health tips in general are awesome!!!! THANKS FOR CLICKING THE BIG BLUE BUTTON!

why my surfing friends avoid calling me or going to the beach and surfing with me now when they know im gay? Im professional kickboxer and surfer. why my surfing friends avoid calling me or going to the beach and surfing with me now when they discover im gay like society cant make a peace with it, if you are strong aggressive sporty and gay they feel jeopardized and unsecured that gay man can be better and stronger in surfing or kickboxing or they feel less manly if they lose from the gay man.Im gay but I prefer straight man company than a gay man because I have similar interest with most straight man like a sport im kickboxer , surfer and I train skydiving. It is really hard to find someone with my field of interest in a gay world.why straight woman loves us and straight guys hate us?

Poll : How dumb can people get... ? ? Found this article on the net _________________________ Melbourne, Nov 10 (ANI): Travel agents are known for arranging proper traveling for people, but the complaints attended by them will make us witness the funny or may be the sad side of their work. Travel specialists from around the world have now compiled a list of the most bizarre complaints by travelers, who can go to any extent to get compensation. One travel agent received a complaint from a tourist at a top African game lodge overlooking a waterhole, who spotted a visibly aroused elephant and complained that the sight of this rampant beast ruined his honeymoon by making him feel "inadequate". Another wacky complaint had a group of UFO-believers, who were holding a conference at a Novotel hotel, express their fears of being infiltrated by aliens because the locks on the meeting room doors had not been changed. There was also a complaint filed by a guest at a Novotel in Australia who complained his soup was too thick and strong. He was inadvertently slurping the gravy at the time. Another Aussie hotel was told by a football star that his hotel room overlooking Sydney's Manly beach was unsuitable because the sound of the sea kept him awake. "By and large, Australians are pretty relaxed about travel and don't make many strange complaints or demands," News.com.au quoted Flight Centre spokesman Haydn Long, as saying. "They're mostly good travellers who understand that things may be done differently to what they'd expect in Australia," he added. But that did not stop one Aussie traveller from cribbing that his hotel room "was decorated in a feminine manner". Other complaints included a panic-stricken dumb woman who called reception and angrily protested that she was locked in her room. Staff later discovered that the woman, who had never stayed in a hotel before, had read the "do not disturb" sign on the inside doorknob and assumed she should not open it. According to one British travel company's survey, some travellers complained of not enjoying going away on holiday because foreigners "didn't want to speak English". ____________________________________ Star if you think its funny
What are the best beaches in Sydney to learn to surf? I am 6'3, 210 pounds and I bought a 6'10'' board. The guys at the store thought it would be a good size for me to learn on. i went to Manly beach and the waves were really big for me as a learner so Im trying to figure out where I should go to learn. Also I almost felt like i was to heavy for my board and had difficulty cause the nose of the board was dipping alot. It is easier to learn on bigger waves because I am a big guy, oreasier on smaller but less powerful waves. Any advice is helpful
Where is Home & Away filmed? Where is Home & Away filmed? When I am looking at the geography of the place when watching the show, the lie of the land looks a lot similar to Manly Beach in North Sydney with water on both side of the jut of land.

Manly or Bondi? Where would you prefer to live? All things considered; price, transport, location and so on. Id prefer Manly, only because I'm a Northern Beaches girl.
Going to Sydney for 8 days, how's this looking? Ok me and my girlfriend coming in early August, both fit, late 20's, staying roughly in the Darling Harbour area, here's what we got so far... price EXCLUDES lodging, food, and drinks. Day 1 Begins early 8am ish, head to Darling Harbour, check out the Royal Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery of New South Wales, shops, restaurant the opera house, walk over the harbour bridge (not doing the climb, on a tight budget. Once over the bridge, i draw a blank? I know I've been in some cities when you cross the bridge their ain't too much, so any suggestions at this point? Night 1 the Aquarium. Cost: $62.00 ASD (aquarium) Day 2 The blue mountains, want to see Katoomba falls, this fall aboutaustralia.com/a2it_package/… the caves, and whatever wildlife we can spot. Ok, question 1, walk way, cable way, sky ride? Can we get by with just a rental car and good hiking shoes? Speaking of rental cars, looks like cost of the train is over $40ASD each, so logic tells me we should just rent a car? We'd like to get there at sunrise, leave at sunset (can we do that stuff in that time?). Back to Sydney, night 2, bars! Cost $80-??? ASD (car or train+bus) Day 3 Assuming we rented the car... UIuru, Hunter Valley for the wine stuff, or Jervis Bay, whale watch or just enjoy an isolated beach. Probable overnight stay here. COST: Rental Car. Day 4 Return the car. Take the ferry to Manly beach, do the Manly to spit bridge walk. I know it's August, but i'm thinking of doing it polar bear style and jumping in some of the rock pools along the way if applicable. Okay we're at the spit bridge, now what? Night 3, dinner or drinks around the rocks. Cost: $14.00 ASD Manly Ferry Day 5 Back to the beach, from central station take the 374 bus to Coogee Beach (no transfers right?) head to Coogee, walk to Bondi Beach. Put on my polar bear costume, rent surf board and wet suit, brave the water for whatever I can tolerate. Anything else while here? Take bus back to darling harbour. Night 5 Kings Cross. Bus best bet here for transport? Cost: $8 transport, $25 wet suit and board rental Day 6 Suggestions welcome? Night 6, looking for some romantic suggestions, nice evening walk, good restaurant? etc. Day 7 OPEN in case new stuff pops up. Day 8 Enjoy Darling Harbour till about 1pm before Returning to United States. Cost: Don't know. Additional ?'s August what time is sunset? Is the 7 day pass worth it based on my itinerary, or do you think it's better to pay as we go? What's the best option for currency exchange (got screwed not doing my homework for this in Tokyo)?
What are these areas of Sydney called? When you take the Manly ferry or the Taronga ferry, there are gorgeous areas to the left with hilltop homes overlooking the harbor, some with small beaches on the harbor. They are not located on the opera house side but on the opposite side of the harbour around the zoo and further towards Manly. What are those nice areas called? Do you know if there are vacation rental homes there?
What type of shop would you like to see in a beach town where you vacation? I am doing a project for my final .... Is it safe to take an Asian GF to a Manly Pub tomorrow to watch the game? Are the Northern Beaches racist? Would that be asking for a fight? She's a Naturalised Australian, with Spanish/Fillipina/Malay looks and is quite hot. If its good enough for Beaver Menzies, would it be a problem in a Manly Pub? Some places arn't safe, and somtimes after a few I can be a little 'over protective', well no but, I don't like to take shit! nathan, wharf bar looks awesome!

The Manly Man Code? Thou shall not rent the movie Chocolate. Under no circumstances may two men share an umbrella. Any man who brings a camera to a bachelor party may be legally killed and eaten by his fellow partygoers. When you are queried by a buddy's wife, girlfriend, mother, father, priest, shrink, dentist, accountant, or dog walker, you need not and should not provide any useful information whatsoever as to his whereabouts. You are permitted to deny his very existence. Unless he murdered someone in your immediate family, you must bail a friend out of jail within 12 hours. You may exaggerate any anecdote told in a bar by 50% without recrimination; beyond that, anyone within earshot is allowed to call B*LLSH$T. (Exception: When trying to pick up a girl, the allowable exaggeration rate rises to 400%) If you've known a guy for more than 24 hours, his sister is off-limits forever. The minimum amount of time you have to wait for another guy who's running late is 5 minutes. For a girl, you are required to wait 10 minutes for every point of hotness she scores on the classic 1-10 babe scale. Complaining about the brand of free beer in a buddies refrigerator is forbidden. You may gripe if the temperature is unsuitable. No man is ever required to buy a birthday present for another man. In fact, even remembering a friends birthday is strictly optional and slightly gay. Agreeing to distract the ugly friend of a hot babe that your buddy is trying to hook up with is your legal duty. Should you get carried away with your good deed and end up having sex with the beast, your pal is forbidden to speak of it, even at your bachelor party. Before dating a buddy's "ex", you are required to ask his permission and he in return is required to grant it. Women who claim they "love to watch sports" must be treated as spies until they demonstrate knowledge of the game and the ability to pick a buffalo wing clean. If a man's zipper is down, that's his problem - you didn't see nothin'. The universal compensation for buddies who help you move is beer. A man must never own a cat or like his girlfriend's cat. When stumbling upon other guys watching a sports event, you may always ask the score of the game in progress, but you may never ask who's playing. When your girlfriend/wife expresses a desire to fix her whiney friend up with your pal, you may give her the go-ahead only if you'll be able to warn your buddy and give him time to prepare excuses about joining the priesthood. It is permissible to consume a fruity chick drink only when you're sunning on a tropical beach... and it's delivered by a topless supermodel.. . and it's free. Unless you're in prison, never fight naked. A man in the company of a hot, suggestively dressed woman must remain sober enough to fight. If a buddy is outnumbered, out manned, or too drunk to fight, you must jump into the fight. Exception: If within the last 24 hours his actions have caused you to think, "What this guy needs is a good a$$-whoopin", then you may sit back and enjoy. Phrases that may NOT be uttered to another man while weight lifting: "Yeah, baby, push it!", "C'mon, give me one more! Harder!", "Another set and we can hit the showers." “Nice a$$, are you a Sagittarius?" Never hesitate to reach for the last beer or the last slice of pizza, but not both. That's just plain mean. If you compliment a guy on his six-pack, you better be referring to his beer. Never join your girlfriend/wife in dissing a buddy, except when she's withholding sex pending your response. Never talk to a man in the bathroom unless you're on equal footing: either both urinating or both waiting in line. In all other situations, a nod is all the conversation you need. Unlocking a car door for another man is polite. Opening it is gay.
how to gain endurance, flexbility, and still be a beach girly fit type? im 13, 110 pounds, 5'1, and im good at sports, but i usually stay at home. i try to eat healthy stuff like naturual and organic foods and water but in some basis i eat other stuff. i suck at running the mile, last time i did it my legs were stiff and bones felt like collasping and i got 11 minutes...but next year i need to do it in 6 minutes without stoping, and flexibilty i need cuz my bones are too stiff and im kinda thick but in some way skinny, cuz my belly is not flat, and when u stretch my skin under my arms u can see a lil flubber, and my hips and thyes are big. so i want to have good endurance, flexibility, and be really fit..but i dont want to be manly or be muscular or anything like that ....any suggestions, videos, workouts...would be great thanks!
Best pub on the Northern Beaches to watch the GF? Narabeen Sands, North Stein, Wharf Hotel Manly ? Badly faced asassin; wow are you the Sire of Pale Faced Adios ? You owe me money! The Gulf Harbour, North of Auckland? I go on google earth quite often and I was looking at Auckland last night. Just North of the North Shore there is like a penisula. It has lots of new houses on it and canals. It says it is called the Gulf Harbour. Also near there is Orewa, Red Beach, Manly, Still Water and Hatfields beach. My question is, for those who have been there, what is it like? It looks really nice, from google earth anyway haha. Would you compare it to the gold coast? (without the population of course). What type of area is it? Thanks in advance :)
Will the REAL republicans please stand up? Which republicans are u? The ones that pracitce some middle eastern religion and war against other middle eastern religions just because they wear little hats and you don't? Or are you the kind of republican that complains about taxes every day yet wants to drive on public roads and enjoy public beaches like a freeloader? Or, are you the kind of republican that hates illegals and terrorist but wont stand up to your shepard bush and close the borders 6 years after 911? Or are you the race track a go go nascar type? Or, are you the simple minded fool that beleives anything yuo hear on Faux tv because they are so fair and balanced? Or perhaps you are the REAL manly kind of republican that is a homophobe, yet secretly seduces little boys like Mark foley? or, perhaps the kind of republican that just gets used by the real rich and famous, becuse you *think* you are in the rich elite club. but truly are millions below par for membership. Just asking. i forgot the kind of replican that cant read books. which I guess It really didn't matter if I post this question, since republicans cant read anyway. http://www.cnn.com/2007/LIVING/wayoflife/08/21/reading.ap/index.html?eref=rss_topstories

Men and women,,,,,,,? Why is it OK to see a man's nipple in public, but not a woman's? My point is shouldn't a woman be allowed to be topless anywhere a man is?? Manly on beaches or sunbathing on your own property.
Beaches for beginner swimmer, close to Neutral Bay, NSW? Hey All, I want to find nice and very closed to Neutral Bay beaches for swimming. I am using the public transport only, which one is closest? I know Manly is always good, but it is bit of far, more than 30 mins on the bus, any closer one to recommend?
What Do You Think Of This Youngster's Bowling? This boy plays for Manly on Sydney's Northern Beaches, what do you think of his future in cricket?Remember he was playing against some people twice as old as himself in at least the first match mentioned. http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,24567819-5006069,00.html
Should my husband get rid of his Hummer H-2? I purchased my husband his car for Valentine's Day because #1 I think it's a very manly car, #2 we needed something to pull a 30 ft boat & #3 because of all the hurricanes (we live in Miami, FL) the streets constantly get flooded & the only people you see able to get around after a storm are usually in a big suv or truck. Gas prices are ridiculous & every one's going "green" I have started looking around to purchase a deeded dock space possibly in Miami Beach or Aventura for the boat. Now I'm telling him that he should get rid of his car & we'll get him someting classier like a 750 or an SL55 (some thing along those lines). Especially since we really won't need his H2 if we get a dock space for the boat. Of course he does not agree with me & says it's very comfortable for him & the family (our family consists of my husband, our 8 & 4 yr old daughters & of course myself). Please advise on what you think, maybe some of your comments & ideas will knock some sense into him. Thnx!
do woman find it equally funny when they come across a ...? sweet, sensitive guy with a rough and manly exterior. who likes who he is and is also like by others. who makes a good living and is very responsible and socially active who never lies and also stands up for whats right. can slam dunk as well as wall around without his t shirt on the beach and then you find out He's GAY!! Bahahaha it sure cracks me, always!
*Men only* can u share with me 5 reasons why you're happy/successful? What's your motivation? I think women generally stagger in life because of all those moods and pressure in their lives, so men are much more driven to succeed. I'm gonna be 21 on Apr 30... and so far I'd have to admit for the last 4 years of my life, having a great man (aerospace engineer!) in my life, I never felt more focused with my priorities til I started "thinking" like a man. (I'm still a great girl with an awesome figure :) Ever since I've been starting to think more objectively, I've been earning 6 digits annually, I now drive a new C6 Corvette, and I can visit Daytona Beach (from VA) anytime I please. Very sweet indeed, and I have to thank ALL manly classic-rocking men for it.
Girls does the fact that more 'feminine' looking girls/women are weightlifting/bodybuilding make you want to? I know that the stereotype people have of girls who participate in strength sports such as weightlifting or go into fitness/bodybuilding are girls who look quite manly and unfeminine but if a girl had muscles or weightlifted who looked like hmm, i don't know Christina Aguilera or Kelly Clarkson, would you be more inspired to try the aforementioned without thinking it is for those girls who are manly? Just a curious thought I also recently saw a weightlifter named Natalie Woolfolk, She is around 22 or 23 and she is as feminine looking as one of the girls from the show Laguna Beach. Therefore ladies, would you ever be attracted to such sports knowing that they aren't always associated with women who look like that murderer from the film 'Monster'? I see no lack of femininity if a girl is strong physically. If they look like a female version of Arnie then that might be scary but if a girl still looks like a girl and enjoys her girl-related things, do you think this is okay? By the way, this is Natalie Woolfolk http://www.flickr.com/photos/38313689@N00/352932947/
Sydney Help? Am moving to Sydney in the next month. Can anyone give me a rough idea of how much flats apratments are too rent in the Manly region? Ideally close as possible to the beach.
Work commute from Northern Beaches to CBD - how? Hi, I'll shortly be working in Sydney CBD for a while, and probably staying somewhere in the Northern Beaches area (Narrabean or similar). I know there's no trains in that area, so what's my best option to get into the city each day? Bus? or drive to Manly and ferry? or drive west to the railway? or perhaps drive all the way & pay for parking? Advice please!
Do shy guys feel pride when they do this? Yes, he's the "shy guy" type once it comes to girls. He doesn't look at me as a "friend" as much but more "a girl" haha I noticed and it seems that he gets the manly pride when he does things for me? Thing is, i'm an independent minded girl and i would never depend on a man for things, esp like money ehh...only thing i would ask for help is guy stuff like technological stuff, heavy things...ANYWAY...The vibe I get is that he feels like a "man" when he'll: - pick me up/drive US around (in his car he just bought - his "BABY", he adores it :) - GLADLY offer to pay when he takes me out to eat (i'll argue to pay once in a while tho haha) - asks me what i want us to do and where to go - i'll suggest the beach and he'll drive us there :) It seems that he would rather be the one making all the moves too...but in his own time. If I make plans, do things for him, make a move on him, he won't respond as much but when HE does all these things, it's good...like i said, in his own time -
funny yes or no? A few rules for what men can and cannot wear at a private pool. 1) Speedos. Speedos cannot be worn by men under the following conditions: 1A) If when you look down, you can't see the color of your Speedo, you probably should not be wearing one. No matter how manly your chest may be, if your belly exceeds your chest, it is not arousing to women to see your skimpy bathing suit. 1B) If your belly hangs down over the top of the Speedo, you should not be wearing one. No, women are not impressed that you can do finger acrobatics tying up your Speedo with only one hand, as the other hand is being used to lift up the fold of skin of your belly hanging mercilessly down over the top of your Speedo. 1C) If you have one of those penises that kind of stick straight out as opposed to hang down, you should not be wearing one. No, women do not get turned on by 1and a 1/2 inches of pure male passion raging from your loins. 1D) If you have a butt that is larger than most lawn chairs, skip the Speedo. 1F) If you are the type of guy who gets aroused when you see a woman in less than an overcoat and/or if there is a gentle breeze, you should not be wearing one. Teepees are for Indian reservations and not for the pool thankyouverymuch. 2) If you cannot wear a Speedo, and are wearing short type bathing suits, please for the sake of all humankind, wear one with an inner shell. There is nothing sexier than seeing your boys hanging down as you sit in that position that only a man can do so gracelessly, but it is impolite to be the cause of so many women getting so horny at midday, so keep your boys hidden. 3) No thongs under any circumstances. 4) If you wear sandals, do not wear white knee socks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A few rules for what women can and cannot wear at a private pool. 1) Thongs are encouraged... however only if certain conditions are met. 1A) There must be a direct correlation to the amount of total square inches of skin, to the total amount of square inches of bathing suit. In other words, if you are any larger than a mini van, a string bikini should be frowned upon. 1B) Thongs or ass floss as they have been come to be known in pool and beach circles, should be worn as long as there is not more cellulite on your buttocks than in one of Mel Gibson's Epic type movies. 2) Women with near perfect figures, cannot wear one piece bathing suits... plain and simple. Damn, I know it's a sexist world, but it's the world that we live in. 3) Curlers are strictly verboten.

Whats a good title for this short story? Walking up the steps to the new school in Paris, France, Marley is more than scared, she’s horrified. Having cousins that lived in France in their younger years, Marley was persuaded to attend Hartley Boarding School in Paris. Hesitantly, putting one foot in front of the other, Marley sticks out like a sore thumb in her new school. Wearing her skinny jeans, flip flops, and a polo, she definitely looks like an American. Not succeeding her goal to fit in a well as possible, she is more discouraged scurrying around, trying to find her room. Arriving at the door of her room, she opens the door. As it squeaks open, she is satisfied with the look of the room, but in the other corner of her room, there is another bed. Set up, and neat as a pin, it looks like Marley is going to have a room mate. Setting her heavy bags and the boxes she has pulled behind her the whole way back from the airport, the door flings open, and a short girl squeals with excitement. Kissing Marley on each cheek, greeting her the way any French girl would, the girl introduces herself. Auctivee. Marley thinks her name is interesting, like nothing she’s ever heard. But Marley would never tell her that she loves her name, when she meets new people she keeps things to herself. Towering over Auctivee, Marley being 5’9”, they walk to the restaurant, to try and find American food. Auctivee, living here for her whole life, and knowing that Marley is experiencing something new; she leads them to the American restaurant. Walking into the Café, Marley is more and more homesick. Being in France for only a day so far makes her homesick already, she cannot stop thinking about her home. She wants to home. Marley misses the smell of the crisp ocean air. She misses the way she could walk anywhere, everything was so close. She misses the beach club and kayaking over something that looks like a field of jelly fish. She misses the quietness of the little neighborhood, nothing like the city sounds in Paris. After the horrible lunch Marley picked through, and Auctivee devoured, thinking it was delicious, they walked back to the school. Stopping at the restroom, it was the filthiest restroom Marley has ever stepped foot in. Trying not to gag, she walked to the sink and looked at her reflection in the mirror. Noticing how frizzy her curly brown hair is, she takes the French braids out of her hair, and sleeks back her hair in a pony tail, her every day hairstyle. Holding her arms up above her head to twist the elastic around her hair, her shirt came up, showing her pierced bellow button that she has been hiding from her parents for awhile. Pulling down her shirt, and stretching her undershirt out, she walks out of the restroom, gasping for air. Auctivee is more than friendly to Marley, she talks all the time, and extremely quick, she probably told Marley her whole life story over lunch, and Marley wasn’t even paying attention. The reason Marley isn’t talking is because she is insecure about the sound of her voice and thinks the tone is quite manly and she is shy. Starting to get annoyed, Marley decided if she talked more then Auctivee would talk less, although not wanting to, Marley thinks it’s best if she starts a conversation. Auctivee is entertained and thinks Marley is hilarious. “So, you’ve lived here your whole life?” Marley asks trying to stop Auctivee from talking. “Ya… and you’re from, where?” Auctivee answers hesitantly and annoyed because it shows that Marley wasn’t listening over lunch. “Cool! I’m from the cape.” “Coo? The Cape?” said Auctivee in her innocent French accent, struggling with the American slang. “Cool means ‘iketeru’ in French, and the Cape is Cape Cod, I live in Hyannis Port.” Showing that she knows French, Auctivee was a little ticked because she was struggling all day. Since Auctivee speaks French, and some English, she struggles to understand Marley, but is intrigued by her Boston accent. Marley knows her French, and she knows she should make it easier on Auctivee, so she doesn’t have to think about the words, but decides the more Auctivee listens the more she can’t talk. Auctivee is caring enough to help Marley unpack her things, to make the room more like home, but Marley can’t stand when people touch her personal items. Auctivee backs off, and says she’s going to her apartment, which is right down the street, but Marley thinks she startled Auctivee with how harsh she had been about her things. Taking her pictures out one by one, the pictures of her house, the beach, her brother and sister make her depressed the most. Ready to take a nap, exhausted after the hours spent on the plane, Auctivee bursts through the squeaky door, screaming and swearing in French. She doesn’t realize that Marley understood the curses she puts on her little brother. Marley doesn’t understand how Auctivee could say such things about her family, and realizes Auctivee’s first impression was false. Living with Auctivee is

Do girls like Metro looking guys ??? Lets see im 18 years old. Had a gf once and it only lasted about a week. I'm quite around girls and I become really shy around girls. I skimboard at the beach a lot and soon ill be doing surfing. Ppl tell me im metro lookin or some ask me if im gay. Because I wear a lot of HCO and some Abercombie. I'm really nice to girls and polite. I realized not so long ago im metro looking guy and I should just get over it. I always wished to get any amazing looking gf with awesome personality but with my sense of style im thinking that girls might turn down by me being metro or not manly enough for them. Sometime after High school is over ill start going to the clubs to have fun. I don't do drugs or drink. Maybe ill find myself a gf. I work, I go to school and I skimboard. Thats all i do in my life and occasionally spend money on cloth to look good. I dont party. my pic:http://img440.imageshack.us/my.php?image=artemsu8.jpg my myspace www.myspace.com/artem90
How do I achieve the Victoria-Secret-Model-toned body? Alright, here`s the deal. I`ll be starting school (I`m in college, just to be clear) in less than a week, and I really want to be in tip top shape (obviously, I`m not expecting a perfect body in a week, I just want a system that I can get used to; one that guarantee results) Any tips/advice for a daily routine I could possibly switch to without turning out so bulky and manly? I want a toned body -- pretty much. I have a very curvy figure, so toning up would be awesome. I`m on the South Beach diet, so I`m eating healthy -- but I really want the exercise, because I haven`t had a regular (and proper) exercise routine that I`ve stuck to, `cause they never seemed to work for me. I like to look good -- and stay healthy too, so, I`m defenitely willing to do several minutes, just not too much because after all I will be busy (but I could try as much as I can to fit it in if it`s uber essential). I do take my time in the morning, and I like to keep it that way because if I don`t; the rest of my day won`t be so good -- for everyone else, that is. So yes. Okay, the succeeding statements will make me seem very shallow; but I work for what I want. And what I want is to feel good -- and look good as well. I want abs. Yes, abs. But I don`t want the sporty, athlete abs; I want the Victoria Secret Model`s abs -- I want them lean and toned, not bulky. I want to look longer and taller, I want a body that elongates my figure (I am 5 ft. tall). I also want my thighs to tone up, because -- well, who wouldn`t want nice legs? SO, HELP? I`m guessing (hoping) you can taste my desperation. Please, please help.
How do I order drinks at a bar? What should i order? Hey guys, so I'm totally new to this bar-hopping experience, and I was wondering how it worked, preferably for Toronto... When I order, do I just say the name of the drink? If i want a beer or a gin/tonic, do I have to say the brand? And what's the usual tip? 15% like restaurants, or less/more? I'm going with my friend (another girl) so should we sit at a booth, or at the bar or stand around or what? (We have really close birthdays so we agreed to wait to go for the 1st time together... and then we realized we were both clueless, hah). Anyways, we also wanted to know what are good drinks for new girls too. We've drank before, just not at a bar, adn we know not to get alcopops or dirty sex on teh beach breeze politains, shaken not stirred. Are gin and tonics too boring/manly? what's a yummy drink to order that won't be a hassle to order on a sat. night? thanks guys, cheers!

hairy back? Do girls like hairy backs and shoulders on a man when they are on a beach? Does it make you want to rub tanning oil all over him and admire his manly attributes?
why do some lesbians have partners that looks like men / boys ...whats the point ? was walking in belmot shores , ca ( long beach area ) primarily a gay area. and the wife and i noticed lesbain couples in which one was very manly of boysih looking . whats the point . if you like girls why dont you date a girl who looks like a girl.
